The book of Jeremiah is followed by its sequel, Lamentations. Lamentations has a curious one-line introductory preface in the Greek Septuagint. It also carries alphabetic acrostics in the original Hebrew, and the creators of the Greek Septuagint had a clever way of dealing with this.
